At the tender and curious age of 17, Janet left the only world she’d ever known to explore a life abroad. What was supposed
to be a summer of mission work in Scotland turned into a summer of love, but not the love she expected. This love turned into a
lifetime of searching for the things that matter most in life. “Fifty years! Why has it taken me fifty years to figure this out?” she asks herself. In the end, after experiencing the ultimate loss, she finds happiness again in the most unlikely of circumstances.
