I don’t know where it came from or why it was there but at the beginning it bothered me. I have to confess that I took it personally. It kept visiting my thoughts like a fly buzzing around a discarded picnic, looking for a place to land. I knew I had to walk myself through this because if I wasn’t careful then I’d let it affect my self- esteem.
In case you hadn’t noticed, we live in a world where reviews are like prizes; the better the review the more you are hailed as a winner. I’ve never held to this mind game, in fact, I don’t even care if anyone follows me on Instagram. I post things because I like them and they speak to my heart. So this review, this one, lonely review about my book, will not control how I feel about myself or my book. In my heart of hearts I believe the Universe led me to write A Life of More and it shouldn’t matter what “man” says about it. It has wings of its own and will bring hope and healing to those who need it. Could it be that the person who left this average review is living an average life? What do the stars mean in the bigger scheme of things? And does it really matter? 3 stars or 5 stars?  I wrote my book to bring hope and healing to the reader and if it does that then it has accomplished its goal.  I had a story to tell and it was written from a good place, a place to help others. I want the reader to know that they don’t have to settle for mediocrity. They can truly live a life they love. Life is short so why not live your dreams.
